Exciting things are afoot for the AV Pro! In conjunction with the Digital Signage Expo, we’ve made our coolest video yet for my tune “Everywhere I Look Now (Digital Signage!!!). In addition to the awesome video, DSE has created a contest where viewers can upload their own version of the video and win serious cash! I’m talking $1000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd and $100 for 4th-10th. That’s a lot of opportunities to score some cheese while having a good time. What’s up HiDefination?!?
Hope you’re digging my A/V EP. I had a ton of fun making it and when CEDIA 2012 rolled around, I couldn’t wait to push it on the masses. In addition, I had the pleasure of kicking it with some of the coolest folks in our industry, those dedicated men and women who competed in the #CEDIATWEEPS Twitter contest. Follow them all on Twitter because they’re knowledgeable, friendly and, quite frankly, a good time. Nick P. and I also competed in some rad A/V Installer Challenges brought to the show floor by ADI, checked out some new technology and wrapped it all up with a recap rap.

A/V Workshop – E-Tape Challenge

In this episode of the A/V Workshop, subtitled “Strong and Sticky”, Nick P. and I tackle the age old question of whether expensive electrical tape is worth the money. As we point out in the video, the price difference is 10-to-1 in some cases. Through 3 rounds of testing, we determine if the extra cheddar on your E-Tape is money well spent.

It’s been a hot minute, I know. I’m about to get married in a couple of weeks and things have been pretty crazy! But that’s no excuse for me not to be droppin fun vids. In case you missed this one, and I think you may have judging by the views, it’s an In-Town/On-Location episode that finds me questioning what all that time watching TV and movies was really worth. And might I add, Nike announced they were releasing the sweet kicks from Back to the Future 2 shortly after we shot this but IMO, too little too late. Enjoy!
